Advantages: Compact, easy to use

Disadvantages: Resistance is not huge so better fro speed

My wife and I bought one of these to replace our Gym membership in order to save a bit of cash in these tough times. It really is not half bad. If you have never used one of these before then you will almost certainly need to place it in front of the back of a chair as the movement can feel quite strange to start with. However, as with most things, the more you use it the easier it gets to use and you can soon get rid of the chair and replace with the resistance bands. My machine of preference in the gym was the cross trainer and whilst I have to say that this could never replace that, you can still build up your heart rate enough to give yourself a decent enough work out to maintain your ideal weight. The resistance bands add a light upper body work out for you as well although whilst this will not substitute a weight work out it should keep you toned. All in all for £30 or there abouts, it is a great substitute for a £400 gym membership and ias pretty compact so is easy to store out the way.

Summary: Not a bad little machine at all
