I am now onto my fourth pair of Merrell's after owning two pairs of Men's Sprint Blast I am now onto my second pair of mens Racer. These particular shoes are a leather upper with a cushioned sole which provides excellent ware and tare and brilliant support.
I first purchased a pair of Merrell's because I was getting a lot of pain in my instep and achiles heal from wearing trainers with a low heal, my Doctor suggested a more supportive shoe and as I wanted something half fashionable I went for a pair of Merrell's. I really find it hard to fault them on their quality and ability to withstand daily ware and tare. My only gripe really is the price, depending where abouts you shop ( I found my second pair of mens Racer on Ebay for £35 normally the retail at £65). They can vary in price from £55 right upto £75 depending on which shoe you go for. Merrel first started producing shoes about 26 years ago for the outdoor footwear market and now produce everything from Hiking footwear, sandals, trail running shoes to more heavy duty boots for both Men and women. Overall I would really recommend Merrell shoes, I have found it is worth spending a little bit more for a shoe that will last.
