Advantages: Lovely sweet spot good pick up

Disadvantages: Pricey at £200 ish

The millenium 5 star is not one of the newest models grey nicolls has. they brought out a whole new range over 2008/9 however you can still buy the millenium bats in many places. I bought one of these in 2006 and scored over 900 runs in one season. they come pre knocked in however i would still knock them in for a few hours and give it a couple of coats of linseed oil. i did have a problem with a crack in the toe but that can happen with all bats i sent it straight back to grey nicolls and i had a brand new bat within 10 working days. The service they provide is second to none and i now use very little other than grey nicolls. The 5 star is around the £200 mark but has a good pick up and an excellent sweet spot. Ideal for a good play maker who likes to build an innings

Summary: Very good bat. would only buy if you play cricket at a good standard
