Advantages: keeps a person fit

Disadvantages: mostly women play it

Netball is an indoor sport played in many schools. It is a sport mostly played by women. The proper netball teams have seven members. Each player is only allowed to play in certain parts of the playing surface. Point is scored when the ball is thrown in the goal post which is similar in size to goals used in hockey.

The beauty of this sport is (other than mostly women playing it) lack of contact between players and fouls.

I played netball once in school when football was called off due to bad weather. When you watch netball it all looks so easy. Players holding a small ball and running with it. This is deceiving because netball requires a sharp mind and a good player has to read the game. Players with ability to move at fast pace have an edge too. Netball is perhaps the only sport where women have advantage over men due to sharp thinking and agile bodies.

There is a women's world cup tournament. Australia has won this about 95% of the time.

Netball is on Euro sport. They mostly cover European matches.
