Advantages: Cheap...

Disadvantages: poor quality, hard to fix, rough ride, hard to spell lol

This is one of those reviews which i feel i cannot emphasis enough, DO NOT GET THIS SCOOTER! There, i said it.

Now let me show you the reasoning behind this.
Firstly, at £15, the parts are not going to be great. You may be sitting there as thinking, its just a bit of metal with two wheels, what possibly could break, well my friend let me list it too you:
Firstly, the fold down mechanism on this thing is POOR. One of my personal favourite things about my scooter is the way it folds down neatly, meaning that i can go to town with it, put it in my bag and forget about it till the end of the day, when i want to go back. On this scooter, it takes a bit of force to get it to work, and requires both hands, whereas on other scooters, you can do it with one hand whilst on the move!
Secondly, the wheels on this thing are loud, break easy, and difficult to replace. The bolt that holds them in place (taken off with a allen key) shears easily, so pretty much, once the wheels are gone, so is the whole scooter.
Another problem is the ride comfort. Higher quality scooters have systems in place to stop the "board" rattling around too badly, there still not as comfortable as say a bike, but they seriously help. Go over too fast on a bumpy road on this thing, and before long, both your legs will be dead!

Furthermore, this really is just for kids, as i am over 18, i use a scooter from a company called micro, which is designed for heavier people, but this really is made out of cheap parts.

Finally, the bearing that basically run the thing on this scooter are low quality, and wear down really quickly.

So, in conclusion?
I know some of you ma think that this is a bargain buy at £15, when you compare it to other scooters, but you must consider a few things. Firstly, this scooter WILL break on you, at some point, and when it does, there is no way to fix it.
Secondly, if the hinge mechanism on this thing breaks (as i said, its not a good one), it may put the rider at risk.

So, what scooter should you get for a smaller child. I would recommend you have a look at a range of scooters from a company called JD bug. There scooters aren't quite goped or micro standard, but they are reliable, ride well, and are not too expensive, at around £40 (you can pick em up in offers for around £30, only double the price of this, but more than double the quality!)

Summary: cheap for a reason, if you want cheapish but decent, JD bug
