Advantages: Extremely addictive, but also good for you!

Disadvantages: Can be hard to get the hang of starting it off at first

I got the Powerball Neon Pro as a gift for my husband, but I've probably used it nearly as much as he has, so it's definitely suitable for everyone! The Powerball is a grip training device which can also be used to treat Repetitive Strain Injury and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. To use it, you have to get the rotations going by rotating your wrist with the Powerball in your hand, or you can use the cord provided to give it an initial spin. Once you get it going, you can start to go faster but you have to keep a good rhythm or it just stops working! The faster you go, the brighter the neon glows, and you can keep a note of your highest score and see your individual score each time you try. The Powerball is incredibly addictive and we've had many evenings of passing it back and forth to see who can get the highest score, although you DO find that your hand and wrist feel quite weak after a while - which shows it's doing what it's meant to do!

Summary: This is a brilliant addition to your fitness equipment selection.
