The sole has a standard 6 screw-in stud arrangement, but has additional rubber studs that can be added to enhance pressure distribution on firmer surfaces. Most players would usually have both studs and moulded boots, so this is an interesting concept, although not really a money saving idea as the boot will need replacing more often than if you have two pairs. Premium Review Puma King: Best boot on the market (892 words)

However the age old techonology of studs is behind other boots unlike the predators and newer puma kings tend to hurt the parts of ...

I have had numerous pair of Puma King over the years and I thought they were the best boot around. Initially I was buying the cheaper boots thinking that they were every bit as good. Definetly Not! Puma King are far more comfortable with a great cushioned leather and their sole is reinforced preventing the studs from coming up through the sole. They also have a 'Duo-flex sole which give them the flexibilty that you demand of a top end boot. If properly cared for the King should last for at least a year. Before yo go out and buy a pair of king I would make sure and try on a pair of Umbro Speciali. ...
