Yonex in general:
... am writing this review from a perspective of a Badminton player who has used a variety of Yonex products in particular their racquets. Yonex are considered the industry leaders in the field of badminton and for good reason. Every racquet I have possessed from the cheaper models right up to my current racquet the Nanospeed 9000 has been absolutely satisfying. In particular my current racquet is fantastic. It is by ... Squash - General ... an avid fan of racquet sports and exercising just enough to stave off death for that little bit longer I am always on the lookout for ones I can actually play without wanting to set fire to my equipment. My general skill levels dictate that tennis, table tennis, real tennis, racquetball, speedball, lacrosse ... in fact any game that isn t badminton ... are seemingly not for me. But then I was introduced to squash and I can quite honestly say that this is one of the most enjoyable if somewhat exhausting games you can play. ~~~~~~~~~ The Rules ~~~~~~~~~ All you need is a court, an opponent, a racquet, a ball and a vague understanding of the rules and you re good to go... Badminton Racquets ... a great fast exciting game played indoors on a smallish court (in comparison to a tennis court). Speed and agility are of the essence in this game so the lighter the racquet the better. A carbon fibre racquet may cost a bit more but the benefits will be massive, it will enable you to move, swing and generally play quicker which could be the difference between winning and losing. The second thing to look for is string tension. A nicely stringed racquet can help you put the shuttlecock where you want it. Too loosely strung it will go nowhere and too tightly strung and you wont be able to control it. Price, this depends on what level you play, the better racquets... Upfront Cricket Bat Grip ... are hundred of cricket grips. Everyone has there favourite type of grips. Personally i like spiral grips. The grip pictured above is an octopus. I will go through a few of the most popular types and explain why they are good or not so good. Spiral; my favourite, thick grip with spirals around. Fills out the hands and is very cushioned. Possible disadvantages is that its not the "grippiest" grip. Octopus; like the pictured one it has tiny suctions on it to grip the gloves well. The grip is fairly thin and can be prone to ripping. The grip is exceptional and when used with another thin grip underneath it would be very good. Chevron; a simple thin bat grip...
