It is a diaphragram type with four LP ports and two HP - one of the four LP ports is dedicated to the primary second stage. The LP ports are on a swivel secton which can be moved independently of the rest of the first stage. I have been divin for some time now and had meny sorts of regulators, and after all that i have used , to me the best has to be the APEKS TX40 . the TX40 second stage has venturi ajustments, basic styling and at 8cm the diameter is larger than the average. I have been told that a new,smaller version will be available this year. This modle is a bit heavier in the mouth than average models.
