Proteam Sp1055 Folding Bike ... proteam folding bike is a 16 inch diameter wheel bike, which folds down to a really small size. I got this bike for my 18th birthday, and it turned out to be such a let down. Firstly, what is there to like about this bike? Well, i got this bike from Sima wholesale for £103, (i have seen it on amazon for £160). When you compare this to other folding bikes, for example bromptons, which can cost in the thousands, this bike is really cheap! Furthermore, is has shimano gears, so there is at least on quality part on this bike. Another thing to like about it is the way that it doesn t take up much room. So, whats wrong with this bike? Universal E-Z Folding Single Speed Bike ... E-Z (pronouced easy) fold bike is a very basic, entry level bike, but that said, it is the cheapest folding bike that you can realistically get in the united kingdom (the only bike that i am aware of that is cheaper is from Germany, and costs 55 euros, however, you cannot buy it in the UK, and is sold only from a small website written in german!) This bike has 16 inch wheels, which although are small, meaning ride speed and stability is comprimised, means that the bike can fold down to a really small size of roughly 65cm, by 60cm, by 30cm. Saracen Havoc ... Saracen Havoc was a 1998 model, so over 10 years old now and its still going strong. I used it well when I had it, for about 4-5 years and then gave it to my mum for commutes and whatever she wanted to do with it. To be fair wasn t half the abuse I was giving it but it has still lasted very well. paintwork is still up to scratch and not peeling or anything, frame looks to be all good. I upgraded when I had the bike: Brakes to magura HS33 hydraulics Crank to FSA powerpro But everything else stayed the same The fork (RST 281) while being ok (I was quite young when I got the bike) Is very heavy for what it is, has 65mm of travel only 50mm effective travel i think and...
