I would not recomend buying an electric rifle unless you were willing to spend at least £150 - £200 including a good quality Ni-Cd battery and fast charger. A good starting Automatic Electric Gun (AEG) would me the MP5k, which retails at £120. Made by marui so you know its reliable, it comes out of the box with a good rate of fire and a fairly powerfull 220fps. You can spend any amounts of money, you can even buy M60's for prices starting at around £500. Brand wise, T...more

Premium Review Rifles: Avoid the Tat (732 words)

Rating:

I've been into Airsoft for a couple of years now. I am a skirmisher with probably near £1k worth of Airsoft Guns and then about £500 of accessories. On top of that I work in a shop which sells the guns and accessories, so I'm in the know about the latest gossip. I'll give you news about that at the end of this review. Getting back to rifles, when you decide you want an Airsoft rifle, the first thing you have to make sure is that you have somewhere to use it. Your home is legal, private land is legal. On the streets and in car parks and public forrests is illegal. The second thing to do is give youself a budget. If your budget was arround £100 I'd ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review First of all what should you get? (894 words)

I have being involved in Airsoft for about 4 years now and earned great knowledge about them and will soon write reviews about persific Airsoft guns available. This opinion is about all the different types and makes of Airsoft guns. Airsoft guns are BB guns if you are wondering and are made to be shot at each other unlike air rifles which would take you to hospital, and they are powered by air. There are three types, Electric, gas and spring. Spring powered are the cheapest and simplest of them and are single shot meaning you reload as in pull back the spring, fire then repeat. These can be found from £10 to £150. Gas are next but 90% of gas guns are ...  Read the complete review

Well, let me fist say if you wanna get into shooting dont waste your cash on plasic models that dont feel comfortable in your hands. and one drop there broken in half. If you waant to get into shooting i reccommend buying either the smk b2 air rifle at £35.00 or the smk b3-f underlever at around £45.00. My first air rifle was a smk b2 air rifle which i was amazed when i reieved it through the post. I thought for £35.00 i would get some plastic abs rifle. but infact when i opened it, it was real hard wood stock with real working mechanisms all made out of metal the only plastic part on the smk b2 is the butt on the stock which is there for grip. Premium Review b2 air rifle (95 words)

Rating:

I got the b2 air rifle today, it cost £29 + pelets and delivery totaling about £42. The gun is made from metal and wood, is heavy and has a fair bit of power. The gun does seem to smoke alot however I think this is just as it is new. The sights seem to be off or maybe they are hards to use because its quite hard to pull the trigger which forces the barel to move as you squeeze. All in all a great gun for the ...  Read the complete review
