We also use them to kneel on and maintain an upright position - harder than you might imagine. The plank is a good little number to try with an inverted sit up as not only does it utilise your core, but also gives your arms a workout. Premium Review Sissel Exercise Ball: Versatile core strenghtening balls (147 words)

These balls enable you to develop your core strength. I attend a half hour abs class on a few occassions a week, where the Sissel exercise ball (also referred to as the swiss ball) is put into practice. The Sissel Exercise ball is a fantastic cheap piece of gym equipment that will support your training needs in a plethora of different ways. As gym equipment goes, its value in correlation to its effectiveness is second to none. In particular, they were used in the recovery of back injury's as the ergonomic shape and support allowed the physiotherapist to create focussed core stability ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sissel Exercise Ball: The ball to work out all of your body! (185 words)

Rating:

Sissel's swiss ball is in my opinion the most versatile, and essential piece of gym equipment, be you an avid gym goer, or a home fitness person. A good exercise ball can increase one's core body strenght and work ones stability. Doing classic exercises such as a situp, on a swiss ball makes it more effective, since it is harder to work the upper legs, and one can really feel it in the upper abdominals. The pushup is also an exercise that benefits highly from Swiss balls - using an unstable surface such as the swiss ball, also works out the rotator cuffs, increasing stability. It is also possible to use the ball as a substitute for incline ...  Read the complete review
