I've recently started doing some extra work for my Dad over summer delivering leaflets for his business door to door. It's boring work but it pays okay and I can do it when I want, obviously though with anything like this I get very thirsty working as I can walk miles each day. For a while I was using standard supermarket bottled water, and although it isn't majorly expensive a couple of bottles a day soon add up. I did start refilling bottles but it's not something you should do too many times and throwing away numerous plastic bottles isn't good for the environment.



After a few complaints to my Mum about three weeks ago I was presented with a Sistema Twister 460ml Bottle in bright pink. My mum bought the bottle from Amazon for the very reasonable price of £2.79 with the added bonus of free delivery. My bottle holds 460ml of liquid and it available in blue and pink, however there is also a 330ml version which is available in pink, blue and green. The bottles are leak proof and have a twist 'n' sip lid which is pretty common these days with drinks bottles. The bottle is a slightly hourglass shape meaning it fits into the hand better with grooves up the sides which makes it less likely to slip out of your hand. The design and colours is geared predominantly towards children, as I'd prefer something with a bit more colour I don't mind using this bottle at all but I know some other adults wouldn't be too keen.



When using this bottle I was pleased with just how sturdy the bottle is, even with no liquid I've never had any problems with the bottle collapsing in which often happens with cheaper bottles. The lid is very easy to drink from, you simply pull up the lid and tip to use, this method of lid is apparently more hygienic, I've never had any problems with the lid leaking and it also allows just the right amount of water to flow through. I enjoy my water really cold, sometimes I forget to fill my water bottle up the night before so it's a good thing for me that the bottle is freezer safe and I can just pop it in for half an hour and have lovely ice cold water. It's also dishwasher safe which is really good for hygiene reasons especially if you're using different drinks in the bottle.



Overall, I'd be very happy to recommend the Sistema Twister Bottle, they're really good value and do the job of holding a drink very well. Overall they're really good quality, nice to look and easy to drink from, however they are a bit childish as they're only available in three very bright colours, so not for everyone.
