Skateboarding is no doubt getting a lot bigger than it used to be. I started about 3 years ago and got all the basic tricks quite fast. Nollie,ollie,180 and so on. There was no pressure I just used to go out with my friend and skateboard. It was really fun. I still do i now and have got a lot better and can grind and do kickflips,180 flips and some other stuff. But things have changed a bit. My old skateboard friend left and I quit for a little bit because i had no one to do it with. Then all my current friends started getting boards and stuff. But its not how it used to be because they are so paranoid about the tricks. Every day they say AHhh! I've gotta go a 180 and the more they try the harder it gets and the more paranoid they get. Chill out! you know? I'm just saying for one second can it not be about the moves and the tricks, not about the clothes and the attitude? Can't it just be about the riding like the old days then you gradually learn the tricks? But it doesnt matter all that much because I still get to go out and have fun with them and basicly cruise round the streets. Not trying to ollie over eveything i see but just ride with my friends and listen to music. Keep it real and concentrate on what it is - the skateboarding. Not the clothes and the bad boy attititude.
