Swing for your life (Swingball)
Member Name: olveston11
Advantages: Great fun for everyone, fairly cheap Disadvantages: Can't play on uneven ground, stick in one can't be played on concrete You're never to old for swingball! One of the only games I've ever found that you can hit the ball as hard as you can, for this reasons (boys especially) love it, i know i did when i was young. There are two types, ones with bases and ones where you stick it into the ground, i have found the base one are more versatile as you can use them where ever you like (grass, concrete etc) where as the stick in ones are only usable on grass. Also the stick in doesn't work on really wet ground where as the other has no problems. This game can be played on your own for practice or in a two in a competitive game, I've also been known to play doubles taking turn to hit it on each side. It is very fun and keeps you very active. Another plus about this game is that it doesn't matter how old you are (within reason) a 13 year old can play a 20 year old and win! A down side to this game is that you have to play it on very even ground other wise it doesn't really work or keeps falling over. The price of the swingball sets are very reasonable at around £20. Overall this is an immense game for all the family and will give hours of fun in summer (if we get any next year!!!!) Summary: For £20 or so its brilliant fun and can be played for summers on end |
