Table Tennis is miniature version of Tennis.

Tennis is played on a ground surface court, table tennis is played on a table, and a small net divides the areas of two players or teams. The ball used is small and shallow from inside. It only weighs 2.7 gram and 40 mm (formerly 38 mm) in diameter. The players use small paddle like rackets to play. Aim is to hit the ball Players hit the ball back and forth, holding a rally until one player loses. Table Tennis could be played as singles or doubles (two players on either side).

The game has its roots in Victorian Britain. People of that age when it was played using various objects as after dinner amusement.

I have a table tennis gear and often play with friends.
It is a good way to keep fit. Sudden movements and sharpness is required.

It is not an expensive sport either, rackets cost under £10, table for about £100 and it lasts for a long time.

If you don't have space inside the house, sports centres charge small fee for using the facilities.

Summary: enjoy this sport it is great
