Advantages: Cheap, lasts a long time.
Disadvantages: I always lose them
Chalk is a very important thing when it come to pool of snooker! Without it, you will play appallingly. I tend to buy triangle chalk because it's one of the better available. You can buy them individually or in bulk, it's much cheaper to buy a bulk pack of them, which is what I tend to do to save a bit of cash. At home we have a full sized pool table, it's great fun but without chalk it's a hopeless game.
Online you can buy a box of 12 for £4, this will last you a very long time if you don't play regularly. My local shop sells individual blocks and so do some places online. As I said before, buy in bulk to save money and the pain of having to frequently buy chalk. It's inexpensive due to the time it lasts.
A chalk cube on the side of the pool table looks rather cool. If you don't have one, the table looks incomplete! You can but many different colours of chalk. My favourite is the blue colour, you can buy greys and greens also. Blue is the most obvious for me. The cube is quite small, with branding information and then the words king of kings on the side.
Does it work?:
It works great, all you need to do it rub this on the end of your pool or snooker cue to give it a top coat of this. You then re apply when it rubs off after a couple of shots. This stuff works better than cheaper chalk, it's the best I have tried so far. It's an essential and it does it best.
There is not much else to say about this product. My dad has always bought this and since I have had to fend for myself in the world, so have I! It's a classic accessory to the sport. Always buy traingle chalk! I will continue to buy in bulk too.
Thanks for reading :).
