Without trucks , a skateboard is just a piece of wood. Trucks are essential to a skateboard. They connect the wheels to the board , they let you move and most importantly , they let you turn the skateboard. Venture have been making trucks ever since skateboarding was first invented and they are still one of the market leaders. Their trucks normally cost between £19.99 for the classic trucks in polished metal (like shown in the picture) each and £22.99 for the colored ones.
