Advantages: Let's You Fly, More Practice Time Avaliable, It's More Addictive Than Any Drug.

Disadvantages: No Stairs Involved, No Pedestrians, No Old Women To Scare.

Even though Tony Hawk's the infamous skater who popularised skating skates vert none of the new comers to skating seem to want to. I have skated vert for 3 years and can get 3 feet of air and do a couple of grabs, trust me it's much more fun than popping a kickflip down some stairs which I can also do and therefore my comparison is based upon my own experiences and not other opinions. It's weird that when I go skating I see tons of kids skating street and when I get to my vert everyone is 21 or older, is vert going to dissappear? I doubt it, but for the next couple of years street skating will be far more popular than vert. I advise anyone reading this who skates, is thinking about skating, or gave up to go to your local vert ramp and drop in. It's worth it as you'll soon prosper, you'll get more practice than those skating the street section of the park since there is less vert skaters. SKATE VERT!
