Tees like these can be bought very cheap in mass, often 100-200 for around £5. This offers great value and can last several years even for the most avid golf player. The first thing to say is they do there job, not fantastically but they do it with no problems or difficulties. Due to the long length of the tees they are very versatile as they can be set high or low in the ground whichever suits your play. They can often break due to the rigorous strain they get put under if hit, this makes them unpredictable, they could last 100 or 1 hole. If you scan around the golf tee market you will find lots of different types of tees, from plastic tees to brush tees there are all manner of solutions. Many of these alternative tees will have technology to help improve your game e.g. brush tees, however you will be looking at almost twice the price for these. Therefore i feel these wooden tees are great of you don't play competitively, just a social game her and there they are perfect. Overall these are a great buy for the bog standard golfer, exceptional value.
