what a load of bolo**s (Wilson in general)

Advantages: wide selection, brilliant reputation, fantastic performance Disadvantages: none except maybe price, bu then again all good raquets are expensive
No offence to rossmoorlock, but i'm afraid all of you who may have rated his opinion as helpful have all been had! To mention but a few points that i disagreed with, he mentions that a raquet is 'heavy' at under 300 grams, now that may be when compared to one that weighs 219 grams, namely pro staff raquets and hammer and hyper carbon raquets. Now if ross is as good as he thinks he is, and considering hehas been playing all his life i presume he will be going for the pro staff raquets which although fall short in power, more than make up for it in control and feel. The reason i presume this is because he should be able to generate his own power and as an experienced player, he will want to go for position rather than power. I own to raquets a Wilson Pro Staff 5.1 and a Yonex RD 7, and although both are heavy the control they offer more than make up forr their 'lardinness' Your ideas on tennis elbow are not entirely incorrect but they are also far from true, you must be careful how you word things especially since the tone in explaining the risks of tennis elbow pretty much makes buying a 'control and feel' raquet a very scary prospect when in fact it isn't. I could tell you that probably all men players in the ATP tour use raquets weighing 280 grams plus so it can't be that bad to use one. I know we are not all Pete Sampras but we are also not Pee Wee Hermans. Summary: |
