When people play tennis, they put a lot of strain on their feet. This is because in tennis you are (or should be :-) ) constantly on your toes. This means that normal trainers don't last long at all. If you drag your trailing foot on your ground strokes they will last an even shorter length of time. I had a pair of Puma trainers once that lasted 4 days until they had a hole in the toe. At the moment I am using Wilson Pro Staff Extreme trainers. They cost around £50 and they last for a very long time. At this point I should make it clear that I do get my tennis equipment from a sponsor, although it is a sports retail chain rather than a manufacturer ... Read the complete review
