Advantages: Good value for money, quality, consistency

Whilst I am neither sponsored by Yonex, nor a coach, I am writing from the perspective of a badminton player with experience of Yonex products. In general, Yonex are the industry leaders in the production of badminton equipment and clothing, and whilst they are challenged by competent rivals in some areas (e.g. shuttles & footwear), they are relatively untroubled as the dominant force in modern badminton.

Rackets; Yonex rackets are used by the creme-de-la-creme of world badminton, and tend to offer good value for money, the latest technology, and a certain degree of durability. They do have rivals in the form of Forza, Carlton, and to a certain extent, Ashaway, but the range of Yonex products is so great that you'll seldom find reason to look elsewhere.

Shuttles; Yonex have not always produced the best shuttles, and this is only a crown they have recently seized in the last 5 years from the good people at RSL. The Aerosensa range includes AS-10, AS-20, AS-30, AS-40, and AS-50 feathered shuttles. The AS-10 are ideal for beginners, AS-20 & AS-30 ideal for clubs/training, and AS-40 & AS-50 used in international standard tournaments. Once again, Yonex have managed to produce a range of products that leaves little impetus to look for competition.

In general, Yonex produce fantastic badminton gear and you'll seldom come across a Yonex product that isn't good value for money, and isn't high in quality. And no, I don't work for/am not sponsored by Yonex.

Summary: A fantastic producer of badminton equipment.
