After trialing with a number of clubs Evra was given his first professional contract at 17 for Marsala where he was mainly used as a left winger. At Marsala Patrice was an instant success and soon found other clubs showing attention. After just one season Serie B side Monza signed Evra for 250,000 Euros. Patrice Evra is a footballer who currently plays for Manchester United. He is primarily a left back and has represented his country, France, at an international level. Although a great defender I like Evra for his attacking options he offers. He is seen week in week out taking on players on the left flank and delivering balls for the forwards to score. He is also great in the air despite being smaller than your average Premier League defender. Patrice Born in 1981 in Senegal and moved to France when he was a year old.
