I bought this collection as I already had a tae-bo dvd and wanted some variation to my workouts but didn't want to stray from tae-bo as I find it really enjoyable, energetic and don't feel like I'm wimping out of the gym by following a dvd instead. I wasn't disappointed with my purchase. Billy Blanks has excelled again in producing workouts to really challenge you, whatever your fitness levels, and which work your whole body and cardiovascular. I don't know about anyone else, but unless I get sweaty I don't feel like I'm really exercising...this is not a problem with tae-bo...you definitely feel like you're exercising! Another way this dvd is different to other exercise dvd's is that there isn't just one person on the screen doing the movements, it's like it's been set in an exercise class with Bill Blanks, the instructor, going round and helping people even as he's telling you what to do. So it's like a little tutorial too, to make sure that you're doing the movements right, and giving you encouragement as you go. If I could change one thing about it, I would prefer some "proper" music rather than just "dumf dumf dumf" in the background, but having said that time seems to fly when I'm following any of these sessions so I can live with it. Another slight annoyance is instructors assistant who clearly does the abs section of these workouts all day every day! No matter how often I do these dvd's I'll never have a stomach like hers and that is a bit annoying!!! All in all, I wouldn't be without these in my fitness collection. When I'm in the mood for some high-power, energetic, all-out exercise, I turn to these.
