A couple of years ago I really enjoyed podium and stage dancing at my favourite 'hard dance' clubs. Having giving that up I realised a few months ago just how unfit I was and bought The Hotpants Workout DVD. While that is great and I still do it from time to time I know all the routines now so when the Ministry Of Sound advertised Pump It Up on TV before Christmas I got quite excited (a bit sad, but I love dancing!) and ordered it immediately. PUMP IT UP Anyone with a TV will remember the raunchy video for Eric Prydz's Call On Me dance tune, which featured lots of attractive women (and one man) doing a sexually charged aerobic workout. If you ... Read the complete review

I have most of the Pump It Up dvd's and this one is quite a good one. It is presented by the stars of the Call On Me music video and the instructor Deanne is good and I don't find her annoying as she is not patronising like some of the other Pump It Up instructors. One of the best things about it is the music as it has some great songs on including Call One Me and of course Pump It Up. The music has a great beat and definately helps to keep me motivated. The dvd is split into sections. There is a warm up, a dance section, a high energy dance section, a toning section and a cool down. My favourite section is the dance section as the ... I brought this DVD a few years ago as me and my sister wanted to get fit and could not afford gym memberships. **The DVD** The Pump It Up DVD is a dance workout DVD, it was released in 2004 and lasts for just over an hour. The dances on the DVD are routined to different Ministry of Sound songs. This includes Eric Prydz' Call On Me and the dancers from the music video carry out the dance routines in this DVD. The DVD is split into five sections: 1. Heat - the warm up section 2. Dance it out - the first dance section 3. Pump it up - the second dance section which is slightly faster and harder 4. Bums and tums - a ... Read the complete review

I bought this dvd because I wanted to get fit, but never had time or the money to go to the gym. This 'ministry of sound' exercise dvd is a great way to work out and keep your fitness level up without even having to leave your house. The Pump It Up dvd is a dance workout and it is split up into five sections. The first part of the dvd is a warm up, the second part of the dvd is a 'dance workout', the third part is a higher energy 'dance workout', the fourth part is 'bums and tums' and the fith part of the dvd is the 'chill' section. The 'warm up' section of the dvd consists of a gentle exercises to warm up all of the muscles that you will be using ... Read the complete review

We bought this DVD about a year ago from eBay and it cost us about £12. I have seen Amazon prices of anything from around £10 upwards which is good value. It still retails new for £19.99 I wanted something that would make me feel like I was doing some exercise but that would be fun, with dance moves I might actually be able to do, (albeit from the comfort of the lounge and with no-one looking) and with great music to boot. It certainly ticks all of those boxes. *What is it then?* A fitness DVD released 28 December 2004 in which the dancers from Eric Prydz's 'Call On Me' video (yes, that one) strut their stuff with a dance work-out to 17 ...
