Rating:
Wrestlemania 24 took place on March 30th 2008 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando Florida in front of 74,635 live fans, and millions watching at home, and until Wrestlemania 25 was the WWE's highest grossing pay per view of all time. The Matches: ( WARNING SPOILERS !! ) Belfast Brawl: John "Bradshaw" Layfield vs Finlay This was a solid match to open the event up, i'm not normally a fan of JBL's ring work but this one was one of his better performances, also I am continually impressed with the ring work of Finlay, as since he has come out of retirement he has shown some great in-ring performances, not bad for a 51 year old wrestler, ... Wrestlemania 24 was at the time thought to be the retirement match of possibly the greatest wrestler of all time. In a fantastic match with Shawn Michaels which will go down as one of the most emotional matches of all time Ric Flair bowed out in style. Unfortunately, it seems Flair may be heading for a comeback match, but doesn't take anything away from the spectacle that transpired that night - worth buying this DVD for alone. The biggest night in the WWE yearly events, in front of 74,000 people in attendance and millions of people live on PPV around the world this once again didn't fail to disappoint. Instead of running through every match i'll just mention the highlights that I felt this was worth getting for. The main event between Edge and the Undertaker was trememndous although the HHH v Cena v Orton was slightly disappointing. The Money in the Bank Ladder match was amazing move after amazing move. However the best match of the night for me was Ric Flairs final match against Shawn Michaels, this match was everything that is great about Wrestling. Action, ... Read the complete review

Wrestlemania 24, March 30th 2008, live from the citrus bowl in Orlando, Florida. This wrestlemania was once again a prolific night of wrestling from the WWE, and is known for being the first to take place in Florida and the second Wrestlemania to be held completely outdoors. I have watched it 4 times now for several reasons. To see Ric Flair possibly in his last ever match, and to see if the Undertaker can increase his undefeated streak to 16-0. The matches were top draw with a host of star studded celebrities like Snoop Dog (the master of ceremonies in the playboy bunny match), Kim Kardashian, Raven Symone and much more. This event was historic ... Read the complete review
