dosftw Sunderland Wall Indoor Climbing Centre (Sunderland): ... Climbing Wall is without a doubt one of the best indoor facilities in not only the north east, not only England but also Europe. stuff10 Sheffield Arena (Sheffield)
... Sheffield Arena is a sports and entertainment complex to the east of Sheffield. It s located close to Don Valley Stadium, between the city centre and Meadowhall. According to Wikipedia, it can accommodate 13,500 spectators and cost £34m to build. It hosts many concerts and events and is also the home to Sheffield s ice hockey team, the Sheffield Steelers. I ve lived in Sheffield all my life and have been to the Arena umpteen times, the most recent being in the past couple of weeks when I ve seen Michael McIntyre and P!nk. On the first occasion (for Michael McIntyre), we got to the Arena at about 6.30pm and were forced to queue up, waiting for the doors to open at 7pm...

niklas89 Wembley Stadium (London)
... in Wembley Park in London. Wembley has a capacity of around 90,000 and is the second largest capacity of any stadium in Europe. It is one of the most expensive stadia ever built, reportedly costing close to £800 million which caused alot of controversy as this was massively over budget. The main purpose for the staduim is to house the England national football team, who play all home international fixtures at Wembley. Wembley also hosts a number of domestic fixtures such as- Community shield final Leauge cup final FA cup semi-finals and The FA cup final. Football leauge play-off finals. LDV vans trophy final. In the future Wembley will host the 2011 UEFA Champions Leag...

marymoose Eclipse Leisure Centre (Workington)
... For a town with the population size of Workington (less than 30k) we re actually pretty lucky to have all of the things that we have - particularly a cinema and a bowling alley - neither of which my hometown of Brentwood in Essex has, even though Brentwood is far more populated! Mind you, Brentwood is an anagram of "BORED TOWN", but that s another story! Of course since I wrote this review for Ciao you might have heard about Workington on the news due to the flooding and bridge collapses (so perhaps it s not such a lucky town after all!). However, that does not really affect the bowling alley side (unless you happen to be travelling from the other si...
