Billingbear Golf ClubNewest Review: ... nine, so that's par 35. SSS 68 from white tees, 67 from yellow. Billingbear is kept in good condition, and I have always enjoyed playing there. The greens can be a bit squidgy to pitch to after recent rain, but they putt well. Although booking is recommended, they will always try to fit a tee time in ...

Billingbear Golf Club is located in Hurst in Berkshire. It is a very old Victorian golf club which was re-opened just 4 years ago after being closed for 90 years, for which time it was just a field. This friendly club boasts nine challenging holes including the 5th, which has a lake right next to the hole and the 6th, where you have to drive over the lake to reach the fairway. The course is good for any standard of golf. It is advisable to book a tee time but they will always try to find you a slot if you just turn up. Martin the Pro is always willing to help and will give practical advice on your game. The course also has a new 9-hole par 3 course ...
