Blackburn Ice Arena

Blackburn Ice Arena is one of the only ice skating rinks in the north-west. It used to be a big tourist attraction but doesn't attract that many people now. I used to go quite a lot when I was younger but havn't been in a couple of years now. There is a carpark outside and is next to a new business park that includes Vue cinema/bowling complex, Matalan, Staples, Pizza Hut, Chiqitos, Frankie and Bennys, etc so theres plenty of things to chose from to do afterwards! The Blackburn Ice Arena is based in the lower side of the Audley Area in Blackburn.No parking is available at the front but around of the back of the ice arena you can find some parking. Inside here the Ice Arena is very cold really really cold trust me! You are asked to take of your shoes straight away and hand them in before you can skate here. The prices for ice skating here can be a lot of money but depending on how many people you can bring it can be cheap to. They have some deals where if you come with a family here the price can be lowered to make the skating experience much cheaper for you.
