Advantages: Away section completely seperate

Disadvantages: Stevenage play there

As an away supporter my view will be different to a 'Boro regular, but will be more useful to your average away fan.

Stevenage's recent rise to fame prompted a revamp of what was a small ground, but is now ready for the Football League, should it get there. One of the more 'fussy' clubs, it sticks to the rules. I feel like I have to wipe my feet when I go in, and not be criticle of their players . It doesn't stop me, mind.

This is an easy one to get to. Just off the A1 and signposted! A large car park opposite the ground is a relief, as no wasting time looking for a place to park is required. Crossing the busy dual carriageway is about as difficult as it gets.

It is always segregated. To get to the away section you turn right out of the car park, cross the road and turn left to around the back of the main stand. The away entrance is on the left. Straight on is the club bar, but as I've never been in it I can't comment on it.

You have a choice of covered seating in the main stand or an uncovered terrace behind the goal. The average Conference prices apply. The view is excellent whatever you choose. Stewards are present in large numbers and competent and helpful.

There are basic facilites, toilets, refreshments etc, and the access to these is also excellent for the able bodied and the less fortunate. The range of refreshments is ok.

Well worth a visit.

Broadhall Way has improved out of all recognition since I first went there in the early 90s. The stewards are generally friendly (they always make the covered seats available for free if it rains!) and you're right next door to Burger King for the essential pre-match solids. Plus we won THAT game 5-1! Fantastic...
