I have seen people hit the cables, it shouldn't be possible to do unless you are using a pitching wedge (not advisable for a 375 yard hole) but I have seen people hit it after teeing the ball too high. Calverley Golf Course is near the North-Western extremity of Leeds, more or less on the border with Bradford. The review I am writing is about the 9 hole course, you get to go around twice for the £5 admission so this makes it up to 18 holes. There is another 18 hole course here but I have yet to play that, being a poor 24 handicapper! The course is easy to get to and has a large car park. I have never had problems parking or with security, there are no houses close-by so don't worry about leaving your car. There is a driving range, putting green and club house with small bar but the facilities aren't great. Functional would be the ...
