Advantages: Fantastic arena seating over 60,000

Disadvantages: A few pillars around the place

Parkhead is a great stadium. Transformed under the watchful eye of Fergus McCann he has turned Celtic Park into a world-class stadium (indeed Glasgow in the only city in the UK with three UEFA 5-star rated stadiums).

With the old stand being the only remaining part of the old stadium it is now surrounded three-quarters of the way around by a wonderful two-tiered structure. The corners are single tier to link into the old stand, but it still manages to hold over 60,000 people inside.

Furthermore as the stadium is completely enclosed there is nowhere for sound to leak out, which creates a fantastic atmosphere.

On the downside there are a few pillars in places and it isn?t in the nicest area imaginable, but it is certainly worth a visit.
