Possibly the greatest venue on Earth (Celtic Park (Celtic))
Member Name: Legendary_Status
Advantages: Amazing, electrifying atmopshere with the best fans in the world. Disadvantages: None Celtic Park, is a football stadium recognised as one of the greatest in the world. The 60,000 all-seater stadium is affectionately known as "Paradise" by the Celtic fans and is described by most fans and football players as one of the greatest places in the world to play and watch football. The stadium boasts areas such as "The Jungle" and "The Green Brigade" which are areas where the fannatical Celtic support give the Celtic players tremendous backing. Celtic FC, as the first British club to win the European Cup in 1967, has a great European pedigree and has saw the Hoops win legendary matches against top class European opposition. More recently, Celtic disposed of Manchester United on 21st November 2006, a Shunsuke Nakamura freekick from 35 yards sending 'Paradise' into scenes of joy. AC Milan (then reigning European Champions) were also put to the sword at Celtic Park, falling to a Scott McDonald winner. Summary: A world class venue filled with world class fans, what more could you ask for? |
