Didsbury Golf Club is situated on the banks of the River Mersey in where else but Northenden, yes its not actually situated in Didsbury which is a couple of miles away. Anyway the club is just south of Manchester city centre. It is a parkland course and is generally open all year round. It does occassionally close due to heavy rainfall and being on the banks of the Mersey which incidentally causes occassional evacuations due to flood warnings from the Environment Agency which effectively shut down Ford Lane which is the only access by car to Didsbury Golf Club.
