Advantages: Nice, new facilities with a fantastic view

Disadvantages: Icy cold wind!!!

Dunfermline Athletic, like many of the small to mid sized clubs in and around Scottish Football?s top flight have had to make rapid building arrangements in the past few years to comply with the Taylor Report.

In Dunfermline?s case this caused three new stands to spring up at East End Park. One of these is a very small one, running along the touchline on the near side of the ground. The other two are behind each goal, your basic symetrical stands so familiar at most grounds. Relatively cheap to build, but comfortable enough and with enough facilities to keep the fans going.

The views are excellent, clear and unobstructed. However the corners of the ground are open, which does allow a howling wind to come in. This does make it very cold! However for the resources they have Dunfermline have done a very good job in upgrading their stadium.
