Very flat, but good course to play in bad weather (Falkirk Tryst Golf Club)
Member Name: woodburnr
Advantages: Easy to play, good in bad weather Disadvantages: Not very long, some holes not very challenging
Falkirk Tryst Golf Club is actually in Stenhousemuir, which is about 4 miles out of Falkirk. The course is built on very sandy ground, which actually gives the turf similar characteristics to a links course, but unusually it is very flat, with only a couple of very gently sloping holes, the 16th and 17th. It is also quite short being around 5500 yards long. Summary: |
