Firpark is home to Scottish Premier League team, Motherwell Football Club. The capacity of the stadium is about 14,000. It is easily accessible by road on the M74 or by train to Airbles or Motherwell station, which are both about 10-20 minutes from the stadium. The cost of tickets costs between £15-20, depending on the opponents. I have been to a number of matches at Firpark. Although it is a small stadium, when it is full, the atmosphere is quite good. Motherwell's Fir Park was the first Scottish ground I ever visited,and it has become quite a tidy ground. It has a small capacity (less than 15,000) and is rarely filled, even for visits from Rangers and Celtic. The ground does have a boxy appearance from the outside, but consider the finances available to Motherwell and you will see they have done a very good job in redeveloping their ground. The Davie Cooper Stand, where I normally sit when visiting the ground has excellent facilities.
