I played my first proper 18 hole round in about 7 years on Friday at Five Lakes Country Club. It is located between Colchester and Maldon in Essex and is situated amongst acres and acres of reclaimed farmland and countryside. It is a relatively new course with modern facilities to accompany and support the 2 courses available to play on. Membership is available but you can also pay and play.
