St Marys stadium review as an away fan (St. Mary's Stadium (Southampton FC))
Member Name: daadr
Advantages: A great new stadium with good views and facilities Disadvantages: In a busy area with little parking
I am not a Southampton fan but i have been to the St Marys stadium a few times now as an away fan to watch them play Ipswich. The stadium is in a bowl design with all the corners field in with seats and and the stands of an all equal height and the ground is all enclosed in with two great looking screens at each end and holds over 32,500 people. The ground is a new ish ground only been open in 2001 after they moved from their old ground The Dell. Summary: A good stadium which when full makes for a good atmosphere |
