Stadiums are the home to the great sport of football. There are more than 100 of them all across the country, and some as small, only holding a couple of thousand people, and are extremely large, the biggest holding almost 100,000 people, so as you can see, the stadium hugely depends on how good the team is, and how much money the team has. Before you start, iahve filled all the other boxes where this can go so its going here what ever ok!. On a lighter side ,you guys actually know someone who has won a national newspaper competition. Yes I was one of the lucky ten people to bag a pair of tickets from the Dailymail to see England take one the mighty Paraguay. They pay our petrol fare to up to Anfield leaving the scouse taxis to quickly burn up your remaining cash. Two 28 pound tickets in the middle of the Kop thankyou very much. And that special atmosphere sucks you into the corners of your plastic seat like no other ground. When my dad used to watch Liverpool here he said the men of this ... Read the complete review

English football is on a high at the moment, Sven is the new god, Beckham and Owen are in the form of their lives and we have not got a national stadium. The system at the moment involves the national team traveling around the country playing in front of different fans each time and this is creating a larger following for them. The stadiums in this country are more than adequate for staging international matches, with Arsenal looking to build a new ground and Manchester City getting the new Commonwealth Games stadium the standard keeps getting better. Unfortunately Sid James' Park keeps getting mentioned but that will soon be stopped once everyone else has ... Read the complete review

A new stadium is essential if we are to progress, not only as a nation but also as a football cultured society. Look around the world and the stadiums that are in place. The Olympic stadium in Sydney has become a world centrepiece after the Olympics and for good reason. It was a spectacle unto itself. The tradition we had with Wembley, a crumbling and dated building but that meant so much to everyone that played there. One of the main problems was that every international team wanted to play there and when they did gave that extra 10%. This may have been a factor in the upturn in results that we have been witnesses too recently. ... Read the complete review

The closing of Wembley, the arrival of Sven and his trust in the young talent we have in England at the moment is the best thing that has happend to England since '66. I'd be as bold as to recommend that we don't build a new National Stadium and keep using the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff for domestic competitions. Just ask any fan that has been to Cardiff it's a fantastic stadium and if the Welsh sort out their transport to & from the stadium it can only improve. The reason for playing International matches at Stadiums such as St.James', Old Trafford, Anfield, Pride Park, White Hart Lane et al is that the FA are giving ordinary ... Read the complete review
