Golf Club Marco Simone - Rome ~ ~ A glorious June morning in Palombara, a north-western suburb of Rome, and at 6.30AM the mad cabbie is already showered, shaved and fed and ready for some action! Although it is not really a stadium, it is now where I watch most of my rugby. After following Fulham (anybody remember them?) from Craven Cottage to the National Sports Centre and then to Chiswick Polytechnic! Craven Cottage was good and the view was pretty good, although I have returned there recently as my daughter is now at Fulham F.C! The National Sports Centre was an excellent venue, good view again, but you was miles from the pitch, I remember seeing an excellent game between Fulham and the then fledgling Sheffield Eagles.
