Immaculate course, perfect setting in the Kent countryside, but not one designed for the moderate-to-poor golfer. You start with five par 4s in a row, and these give you an idea how testing the course is. The fairways start generous and degenerate into very mean, a perfect tee shot must often be followed by a very precise approach - as the greens are lightening fast.
