I have started to really use our local sports centre for a lot of things, including things for myself and for my children. It is not as expensive as you might think if you choose the right things to do. The Kings Centre (now renamed Olympos) in East Grinstead is about 10 minutes walk from where I live and it is host to not only sport related activities, but also the pre-school that my daughter attends and where I work two mornings a week.
