This links course must count as the 8th wonder of the world! Waves crash below the course onto at least a mile of sandy beach, with next stop America across the Atlantic. The course is a championship course which is really only suitable for good golfers. The rough is tough so bring plenty of balls. Necessary to be an accredited member of a golf course with a handicap. The club also has another 18 hole course across the road which is more suitable for less experienced players and dowagers! There is a fair amount of water on this course and the land here is boggy but again it has great views towards the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren region.
