Market Rasen is a horse racing racecourse located in the Lincolnshire countryside near to Lincoln, Scunthorpe and Grimsby. It's not the nearest racecourse to my house, but it is the one that I visit most often. Meetings take place year-round, mainly at weekends but there are the occasional races on weekdays. I've only ever been on weekends, where it's often very busy - especially on sunny summer days (remember them?). There are 3 different areas that you can go in - the County Enclosure (£18-20 depending on the day), the Tattershalls (£13-£15) and the Family Enclosure (£8-£9).
