Newest Review: ... is ideally situated for those fans travelling to games by car, as it is well signposted through the town centre, and situated smack bang next to an exit on the Perth bypass (which is easily accessed from the A90). There are two main sections to the car park, the tarmac area by the main entrance, and an overflow section round the back of the all-weather training pitch – and if you are parked in the overflow, the stewards sometimes open the gates that lead directly onto the slip road for the bypass, this allowing easy departure from the ground. I've always had a soft spot for St Johnstone, I'm not really sure when it all started but I do remember reading their result in the paper one Sunday, many moons ago, and blurting out 'Look, Daddy, that team's called John!'. Sad but true. And from that day forth, I adopted the Saintees as my team from north of the border. It took a long time for me to even get to Scotland, let alone see 'my' team play a game - my first trip to Perth took in a visit to Muirton Park in 1989, their old stadium in the centre of town.
