Midlothian Ski Centre aka Midlothian Snowsports Centre is situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh on the stunning Pentland Hills. The slope itself sits on 'Hillend' which is the original name of the leisure facility. Hillend has so much to offer and not just to skiers and boarders - although obviously they make up the majority of visitors. Slopes and Lifts Hillend used to be Europe's longest artificial ski slope but I see they now say 'one of Europe's longest' so it has perhaps lost that title. Lessons at the ski and snowboarding centre are good im taking them now. If you wat to go it is £10 for 7 lessons if you can ask for Guri and say Matt sent you. They teach you everything you need to know. i would give this place a 10/10 it has everything u need 2 use. There is a cafe, 5 slopes 2 nurseryslopes and 3 big sloped the egde is the fastest. anyone can go. for snowboarding you have to be 8 and over and for sking you must be 6 and over so its fun for the whole fammily ...
