Advantages: Super stadium

Disadvantages: None

The Millennium Stadium was opened in 1999 and has a capacity of 74000. It is a major landmark within Cardiff and has played hots to many concerts such as REM, U2 and Oasis. Of course it is well known for sport too. It has played host to many significant Rugby matches and was the temporary home for the FA Cup final.

My experience of the stadium came in the FA Cip final Arsenal V Southampton. I had one the tickets and really looked forward to the game and visiting the stadium. It didn't disappoint. I sat amongst the Southampton fans and the atmosphere was incredible. There was a wall of noise. This has been much better than my experience of Wembley with their singing section. This mayu have had something to do with the fact that the roof was closed on the day because of the weather. The retractable roof is a fantastic feature.

Another good feature is the big screens above the goals. This is great for the fans to be able to keep track of the action.

The stadium infrastructure is quality. There is plenty of leg room at your seats, the walkways a re nice and big so you will not be bumping into people and you won't find a long queue at the toilets as there are plenty. The food and drink outlets are good too and again I didn't have to wait long.

How to get to the ground
From the M4 home and away fans are seperated which is quite something to have this planning. Generaly though you get off at Junction 32 then simply head to the city centre.

This ground is a fabulous arena. I have found it much better than Wembley. Even though the new Wembley is much better than it was you are closer to the pitch and the game. The noise is deafening and as I have already said better than Wembley for this too. I would have no concerns about playing more major games here. It won't happen but why not play the FA Cup semi finals here. It would be a fitting venue for the occasions.

Summary: Great atmosphere
