~ ~ Over to the Highlands of Scotland for this golf course review, about Newtonmore Golf Club, a wee course I played during our holiday break in the Cairngorms back in August of 2003. ~ ~ I have already written a review of the Kingussie Golf Club. (Near Aviemore in the Cairngorms) Newtonmore could almost be called its “sister” club, as it is located in the next village, and has many similarities to the Kingussie track. In fact, I only found out about the course by looking at the notice board at Kingussie Golf Club when I played there, to find that Newtonmore had an “Open Week” in progress.
